Roxanne John, 80, of Bridgeport passed away Thursday morning at home with family by  her side. Born in Watertown, NY she was the daughter of the late Kay and Hazel (Brownell) Kinney. Roxanne was a resident of the Chittenango and Bridgeport area since 1968. Roxanne spent her married years caring for her husband and family. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Udo H. John, her daughters, Heidi Earl (Edward) of Lakeport, Renee Vemola (Michael) of Monroe, NY and Amy John (William Keogh) of Wilton, CT., her sisters Sharon Mazzullo of Chittenango, Candace Taylor of Savannah, GA., Kathy Kinney of Pittsboro, N.C., her grandchildren David, Dominick, Michael, Joshua, Ava and Maya, her great-granddaughter Harlow, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Patricia Duane of Miami , FL. and her brother-in-law Bob Mazzullo (Sharon). In keeping with Roxanne’s wishes services will be private. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Bridgeport NY Food Pantry, 229 W. Yates St. E. Syracuse, NY 13057.
