I am heartbroken to hear of Dixie’s passing. Though we were not close friends in high school, I came to admire her diligence and amazing caring, as reflected in her pulling together reunions for our Class of ‘61. In high school I remember her as “quiet and kind”…only later did I come to appreciate what a loving and powerful person she was. Condolences to her family; we are grieving with you.
