    SHARON E. LARKIN

    October 22, 2021

Sharon E Larkin, 81, of Cazenovia, passed on Friday October 22nd, 2021. At the time of her passing she was in Palm Bay, Florida in the presence of family. Sharon was born in Erieville, the daughter of Earl and Lila Spaulding. She graduated from Cazenovia High School and was most well known for being the elected Town of Fenner Tax Collector for 42 years and copilot for the famous Larkin Cattle Limo. Sharon was a lifer of the Cazenovia area and joins her beloved husband of 59 years, Michael Larkin, in heaven. They raised four children: Steven Larkin of Georgia, Juanita Barden of Florida, Penny Larkin of New York, and Michele Takatz of Colorado. Sharon is also survived by four of her sisters, Mona Brown, Dawn Funace, Candee Powers, and Noretta Pawlewicz, as well as six grandchildren.  Sharon was a simple country girl and would not want us fussing too much over her. She enjoyed bingo, scratch-offs, the Buffalo Bills, daytime soaps, and TV game shows. Having touched many lives with her wisdom and grace, she will be greatly missed. Peace be with you.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at St. James Church in Cazenovia and live-streamed at www.stjamescaz.org. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cazenovia. In honor of Sharon, contributions in lieu of flowers, may be made to the CAVAC (Cazenovia Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps) or St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care.
