Kathleen Perrone died peacefully on January 26^th after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.  Born in Glens Falls, NY in 1931 to Raymond and Margaret Philion, she grew up in Hudson Falls, where she graduated from Hudson Falls High School in 1948. In 1954, she married Donald Perrone. They were together for 58 years before his passing in 2013. Kathleen spent most of her life in Chittenango and in the early 1970s began working as the village’s first welcome wagon hostess.  In the late 1970s, she became receptionist for the Chittenango Police Department where she worked for 10 years until retirement. She was active in St. Patrick’s Church in Chittenango, NY Altar and Rosary Society where she helped prepare many church sponsored meals. Throughout her life, she enjoyed such activities as league bowling, golf, ceramics, and many dinner parties with friends.  Her favorite activity was spending time with her grandsons, Jeremy (Stephen and Mary) and Jesse (Terrence and Ann). Kathleen is survived by her two sons, Stephen (Mary) and Terrence (Ann), her two grandsons Jeremy and Jesse, one brother Raymond Philion of Schenectady, NY, three nieces and two nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday February 1^st at 10:00 am at St Patrick’s Church in Chittenango, NY.
