Kathleen "Kathy" Tobin of Fayetteville, NY passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 in the abundance of her husband and family's deep love and devotion for this wonderful woman. Kathy was predeceased by 2 of her children: Christopher and Laura who will be united with her in heaven. Kathy was born on September 25, 1941 in Chittenango, NY. Kathy grew up with her parents and many siblings in this wonderful village. As a young woman she met her beloved husband Leo and they raised their children in Canastota. Kathy was a wife, mother, grandmother, and gracious hostess who made all feel welcomed in their home. She was a woman who had many talents including her talent as a Quilter creating beautiful quilts and table runners. She shared these creations with many who are lucky to now have one in their home. One of Kathy's favorite places was her beautiful home in Nova Scotia. It was in this setting that Kathy got a glimpse of heaven here on earth. Kathy is survived by her husband of 50 years Leo Tobin, her children Sean (Tiffany) Tobin, Lisa (Edward) Maslak and her siblings: Linda Holava. Karen Wilcox, Carol Green, Kevin Case, her ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory. Kathy was predeceased by her brothers William, Robert, and Gerald Case as well as one sister Joyce Greco. A private funeral service for family will take place at the G.F. Zimmer Funeral Home in Chittenango. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
