Lealani Gifford, 30, of Chittenango passed away Sunday, May 12, 2018 unexpectedly at Oneida Healthcare Center. Heaven gained an artist, a cheerleader, a lover of animals, Chips Ahoy, Crunch ‘n Munch, Marilyn Monroe, all things pink, zebra, and Hello Kitty. The world lost a beautiful, dedicated daughter, fiancé, mother, niece, sister, cousin, and friend. No words can express how heartbroken we are to have lost our professional pumpkin carver, hair stylist, manicurist, co-conspirator, and confidant. We know you will be watching over us as we help Lina achieve her dreams, and we hope to make you proud. We are so grateful to have had you in our lives; we love you forever and always. Rest in paradise Lealani. Lealani is survived by her fiancé, Ryan Kendall; daughter, Lina Kendall; paternal grandparents, Ray and Mickie Gifford; father, Jeffrey Gifford; mother, Jamie Irizarry; brother, Jeffrey Gifford; sister, Tristi-Leigh Finkbeiner; maternal grandmother, Brycea Parker; future in-laws, Fran and David Battle, Andy Kendall, and sister Makahla Battle; aunts, Rayma (Dan) Santorelli and Paula Hopkins; uncles, Rob (Patti McGinnis) Gifford and Dan (Karen) McMillon; her special cousins Allee Santorelli, Alicia Roberson, Heather Paris, and Erica McMillon; and many other special family members and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Swena Hopkins. Funeral services will be 7:00 pm Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the G.F. Zimmer Funeral Home, 702 Legion Drive, Chittenango. Burial will be private. I’m so sorry to hear she is gone. She was like one of my daughters. I am truly truly sorry to hear this. You are all in my prayers.

Rayma - I am so sorry for your loss. She sounds like a vibrant young woman. The heartache you feel now is difficult but over time, the wonderful memories will help ease some of the pain. If you need anything, let me know. Sincerely, Joanne
