    Harold R. Cypher, 95, of Chittenango passed away Saturday at the Oneida Extended Care

    Facility. Harold was born March 2, 1922 in the Town of Sullivan to the late Ray and Edna Cypher and was a life resident of the Chittenango area. Harold was employed 31 years at Acme Markets and retired as a warehouse supervisor in 1979 and then was employed in loss prevention at Price Chopper for 5 years retiring in 1984. He had attended the First Presbyterian Church of Chittenango. He was a past member of the Sullivan Squares, the Cazenovia Swingers, the Kozy Two-Steppers and also the Mobile Home Travelers. He was predeceased by his wife Leona in 2008. He is survived by his son Larry (Eleanor) Cyper of Chittenango and his granddaughter Stephanie Huntley of Jamesville. Funeral services will be 6:00 pm Thursday at the G.F. Zimmer Funeral Home, 702 Legion Drive, Chittenango. Calling hours will be 4-6 pm Thursday prior to the funeral service. Spring burial will be in Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota.
